I need a hydraulic pump for a 1998 tractor, I have tried several places and have been on various waiting lists since February. Tried genuine and non genuine parts suppliers. Don’t know where to go now. Has anyone managed to get a machine written off by their insurance company because vital parts are no longer made?

What tractor is it? 1998 isn't crazy old

Had a small gearbox part I needed on a 7810 and was now obsolete, was a pain to track down without buying a whole gearbox

Think white house was spoken to by the dealer I first tried to source the part from but will see what the story is regarding having it refurbished. a parts kit is/was available for it but the mechanic who stripped it thought it was beyond saving. It might now be the only option to try.
A few places have showed it in stock and I have ordered it only to come back saying it’s a few weeks away then later saying it’s 3 months away….

Deutz agrotron is the tractor.

Where abouts are you? Our local SDF man might help you out as he's done them for years.

It's probably only an aluminium gear pump and I'm surprised WHP can't help you. If you like send me what info you have on the pump and I'll see if I can help. Unfortunately they are not a repairablr item.

You got the deutz part number or number off pump, can easy check one of my big suppliers and you or I can pop number in to whp site. Often if whp don't have it listed or can't get a drawing for it they will build you one up from generic parts if you send them the old unit.

I have a couple of Deutz tractors, they are my local dealer. If you give the serial/part number I could ask (here in france) for you if you like
