Just thinking about undersowing maize next year under SFI. Anyone tried it and had good results? Would ideally put grass clover mix so then could be retained the following year and get legumes payment.

We have tried it for a couple of years with an interrow drill, but have had patchy results. We previously spun on grass seed and it was worse. I think we are a bit dry here for good results except in a wet year, and we get better results going in straight behind the forager as we use early ripening varieties
