A Horsch Joker would be nearest to the traditional carrier but something like the SImba Xpress is more similar to the X & XL versions

Look at twb jester we got one last year and was miles cheaper than the main brands but built stronger imo

Horses for courses. Lots of options out there. Just because one brand works for a neighbour doesn’t mean it will work in your situation.

Sometimes you pay for the name and other times you pay for a lot more. The choice is yours.

As someone who has never used any kind of short disc but looks at them quite carefully, a carrier looks like a press with discs on the front whereas most if not all the others look like discs with packers on IYSWIM.....
