Valtra WAS

I am slowly in the process of getting everything together for a AgOpen GPS build to go into my valtra T151. I found what I think is a factory fit WAS.

Can anyone give me an idea of what colour wire serves what function before I start putting voltage through the wires and fry something?

Looking at its location, I wouldn't be to sure its a WAS, usually mounted on the Kingpin if OEM WAS.

You could utilise the mounting bolts for that sensor and I think I spot two plugged holes, so easy to mount a Land rover type WAS and a U clamp on the steering rod.

Where that is, I would think it's a sensor, perhaps to monitor wheel slip or for some sort of traction control. Can't be a WAS there, king-pin as Andy says would be place to look.

Its the cover for the wheel angle sensor wiring, dana used to thread the sensor wire inside the axle from under the king pin for protection then bring it out the casting there. Depending on config it might not have one or it might no have much resolution if it was only specced for 4/wd/diff lock disengagement.

Looks very similar set up to fendt WAS, as @Wombat says there are 2 types of sensor. One is for auto 4wd and auto diff lock the other does both those things plus a WAS for auto steer.
