Valtra Worth

Hi folks, I'm thinking about changing our Valtra 2013 N103 H5 with 2300 hours with Valtra loader and electronic armrest joystick. Uprated pump, creeper gearbox, 3 spools and 38" rear wheels with 2 weights on each. We are planning an N124.

I don't have much clue about value and was just wondering what I could realistically ask for it if I was to sell it privately? I presume I could get a better deal if I don't trade in? Or does it not work like that with tractors?

Any advice welcome?

What did it cost u new in 2013. I assume rightly or wrongly that it looks like new. What would that tractor cost today new? Has it lost 40% if it’s value? What will the new replacement tractor cost? Lastly and perhaps most importantly why are u not buying a Fendt? Just kidding about the Fendt.

I cant remember what we paid for it! I'd have to have a look for the paperwork. It is basically as new, nothing broken/damaged. I know what we've been offered to trade but not sure if it's fair or not. Was just wondering if I should sell it myself. Oh and can't afford a Fendt!!!

Well Farmer7 whatever you buy spec it up with all the fun stuff that makes owning and driving one a pleasure. I would price a JD and Fendt along with the Valtra just to see what it would cost to change. Not everyone has a very good trade inn and the money to buy new in these times like u have.

I did look at some others and demoed a NH but to be honest I think I'm sold on Valtra for my main tractor. I like the space on the floor of the cab. The cab seems so much roomier than some of the others I've looked at. Good for carrying all my junk. And I like the fact the Valtra seat swivels much more than the others I tried. The few degrees some others offer isn't enough for my back!

Any photo's?
28k sound too much?possibly?
Picture attached. I'd like to think it was worth more than 28k. Dealer offered a good bit more. But then with dealers I don't know if they artificially give you a better trade in price and put extra onto the new tractors price!

At the start of your post you state you don’t know the value , but 28000 is not enough when some one mentions a figure !

Only 2300 hours? And thinking of changing? Your farming must be good?
If you change then the next owner is going think he or she has won the lottery buying such a gem.

Yes a photo says a thousand words.
Yes worth more than 28k as stated looks very tidy and possibly 35 k area correct.
Why change?
They all want to sell you new and rob old one off you?

Thanks for the replies - that sounds more like where I'd like to get.

Regarding, why change. It was just to keep up to date. I never know if it's best to run a tractor into the ground or change them when they're still relatively fresh. What's the general consensus here?

We bought the exact same model 12 months ago,2 spools on 34’s.

2500 hours at the time, dealer price was £36.5k,knocked down a bit as hours were higher than advertised and traded an implement in.

Retail now would be £35k minimum at a dealers.

If you’d put it on 12 months ago I’d have bought it.
