I found this interesting.
The day after the awards, “the speech”, Mr. Phoenix was “liberating” a cow and a calf from a slaughter house to the animal sanctuary. At first, it got me thinking “calf at a slaughter house?”. How come? Well, it was born there, that’s how come.
Now Mr Phoenix may not know much about our industry but I should think knowing that calves are being born at slaughter houses is as much as lots of our current customers need to know to become ex customers.
It’s not Hollywood actors that make me worry about my future business, it other members of the industry
I saw a clip of him “saving” the mother and calf and thought I’d laugh my head off if she gave him a full pelt kick as he walked behind the cow I couldn’t bring myself to watch the whole thing my blood pressure couldn’t take it as I said earlier he’s a bell end

And it doesn’t bother you one jot that a cow is calving at the slaughter house?
Actually, I think they had 5 last year.
This industry only brings its problems upon itself.

I don’t believe anything that these so called celebs say for all we know it was a big set up just so he could push his views on the increasing gullible or easily led idiots what better way than oh look at me rescuing this itty bitty baby calf and his ikkle mummy stand by what I said he’s a bell end

We popped into macdonalds in Shrewsbury around midday today, found a space in the car park just because someone else left.
Not a veggie dipper in sight inside (although I was admonished by the wife for staring at people's lunch), plenty of big mac's and milkshakes in evidence though :finger:
You were looking at other folks meals when you could’ve been staring out of the window at all the land rovers on Hatfields forecourt. Things have got bad ;)
