French defence spokesman asked about the Jersey 'event'
"We always welcome our friends and allies the Royal Navy when they are in local waters, as usual we offered them fuel, provisions or berthing if they needed it. They always do the same for our ships."

You have to laugh at how the UK media tried to big it up saying that French warships had arrived on the seen, when in reality it was a 40 year old police launch. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Apart from when, after capitulating to the Germans, they refused to hand over their navy to the Allies.

And Winston sunk it.

University halls of residence place every student on the electoral register and for a postal vote, ballot papers arrive when vast majority are not present, but all get filled in and returned.
Alternately there is the time honoured method of knocking on doors and offering to assist people with filling in their ballot paper.

You've also got the SNP version .. giving 17 year olds the vote so they can be told how to do it .. or even better giving refugees who have NEVER paid into the system and don't understand the history or politics the vote.

SNP are quite literally gutter politicians.

I would be absolutely amazed if this is true.
Certainly I can see various student groups actively encouraging non interested voters to apply and handle the paperwork themselves.

I doubt it prevails everywhere but I can see certain places in Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol and London doing it.
