Want peace of mind for your excess calves?

Whilst I do see and understand the benefits of farm to farm trade. Is there anyway to bring the marts into it?

One of the reasons to sell through Breedr is to know where your calves are even when they aren't on your farm up to 8 weeks of age to satisfy dairy contract requirements, you can't do that if it goes through a market. We have some price-setting features which help make sure that both sides of the deal are getting a fair price.

I can't seem to find how the price is set on your website. Is it similar to the calf buying companies so much for base and so much for each kilo over that?

You can just search the ear tag on bcms and it will tell you where it's moved to if you sell through a market.
Or you used to be able to I haven't done it for a long while

I've signed a fair few disclaimers in marts this time when I've bought calves, for the milk contracts ... so you can do it if they go through the mart

You're selling straight to the buyer so you set the price, we can help guide you on some recommended ranges and prices

Do you want 150 jersey bull calves in March/April???

You can get in touch with the SW rep on [email protected]

I sell my calves in the market in a competitive environment, to a degree i don’t care where they go but I do hope they go on to do well for the buyers as that means they will bid on my calf’s again, it seems to be working welll.
