Only just started following North Wales FRS but unlike South Wales and our Control they don't appear to tweet incidents very often so I've no idea. Our patch joins Dolgellau's, but we very rarely meet. Shropshire on the other hand we exercise with as they regularly provide support for bigger jobs in the Severn Valley.

I tried going on @NorthWalesFire but most Tweets and FB links are in Welsh (only)

We carry 1200 lt to start the first attack ,that should give us enough time to get a hydrant going .
Network is not to bad a good average here in the village is 1000 lt min but we do have 3 large 40,000 lt tanks buried in the village for real emergencys
If you are wondering about all the B hose we do have certain areas with out water mains and then we have to pump water over ground in total we alone can pump water nearly 3000 meters using pFPN 's (17 bar 2000 lt portable pumps )

Kit's obviously moved with the times but the fundamentals are all exactly the same:LOL:. Pretty sure we had the exact same pump too. Good find. I've taken the liberty of sharing it on our Station Twitter account.
No problem

The second appliance in to the mock incident on Combs Lane, was Needham Market

They've had a broad array of special low level appliances to get under a bridge on their patch

I thought it looked unusual. I just assumed it was a 2nd appliance and not carrying ladders.
Various appliances over the years and said low bridge. Must be quite a moment coming towards that in anger for the first few runs

Mid & West Wales have bought several Volvos lately. Talking to the mechanics, the MANs have not proved the most reliable, although the current cab ones like ours are apparently less trouble than the model that came before them. Saw a neighbouring station's first pump heading south on an artic lowloader this morning, which is never a good sign...

Btw our recently retired Training Sub Officer has just messaged me on Twitter to say how many memories that video brought back. Apparently Powys Fire Service had a similar mobile BA training unit to the one featured.

Only one, chimney fire. Was pretty exciting tho for a first shout! I missed the next two we had including a whole island turnout for a hill/gorse fire . Overall we are a quiet station, tt week coming up a lot of rtc's normally, unfortunately they can be be quite bad ones, but I'm away for some of it which might be a good thing

Check this out! Guy turned up in it the other day to collect my quick fencer. It's ex fire service unimog, used to have roller shutter cabinets on the back for gear. When he bought it only had 500 hrs on the clock
