Has anyone solved the problem of storing hay outside?I think 3 out of the 4 answers you have already had, have answered your post... If you have the space to store it, and look at the weather forecast going forward, you will sell it ok..
Standing straw auctions have been daft as usual too.Might even be more valuable as bedding!!
Don’t post any pictures, i prefer boxers personallyRe bale it in smalls in a couple of months.

Don’t be so sure of yourself… maize crops are dreadful .. a lot these dairy farmers already looking for extra fodder/ wholecrop/ bales ectThere will be fodder everwhrre by the end of the season , wont be worth a lot unless straw is very short
Very poor growth here this year and even if it changes will never make up the deficit. Plenty of fodder will have to be imported. There will be fodder everwhrre by the end of the season , wont be worth a lot unless straw is very short
Maize is romping away at home. The only crop that's actually not grown worth a sh!t is OSR and that's only because most of it drowned over winter. Some hellish crops of spring barley around and there's a few fields of winter barley waiting for the sun to shine to come so the combines can start to roll.Very poor growth here this year and even if it changes will never make up the deficit.
