What’s the best spec concrete floor as want a polished floor?

That was with a smaller local firm. Was quoted just over £140 with the larger firms

I have a yard to do but it might wait until next year can see it coming down a bit now

It was a good thing while it lasted . ... no big contracts by utilities going on around here atm .

Yes , we managed to concrete a 60x 30 shed and a 15' apron in front of it on ' rejected loads' . The levels wouldn't be exact but still bettering than the stone floor !

Trouble is media has made such a fuss since covid, everyone has been forced to increase wages.

Can't see anything coming down much, a new concrete lorry has gone up by £50k!

And the cost of cement, the increase in demand by hs2 and the frenzy around energy costs created a perfect storm scenario to hike up the price. It will almost certainly never come down.
