How do I feel today

My wife starts her treatment for the big C today
So in the scheme of things sod all else matters
The track of my digger
Constant rain again
Nearly lampooned myself with a silage tine
My bike looks like its had a stroke
But sod it all I'm smiling through it [emoji23]
Good luck to your wife hope all goes well, I was feeling sorry for myself having to re test a TB inconclusive reactor and worrying about the results, kind of seam insignificant now.

90% dislocated knee is getting better and stronger, and yesterday's post first jag rubbish fest has passed.
Stuff progresses, get the grass growing and young stock out to grass would make it 100 %.

About 50%, hard to get above that these days, keep thinking best years are behind us, not much to look forward to, either too wet or too dry, grass barely growing, just been through 2 years of Tb testing due to neighbour breakdown so run cattle numbers down just as prices pick up, spring barley looks crap, still as been said already plenty worse off.
But seriously lacking motivation

got a sick calf 40/60 chance of survival, couple of sick cows, although they are improving. might not sound much to some, but i havent used any antibiotics since october, so 3 in a few days is a bummer.
the relentless cold rain getting me down a bit too

on the bright side a teenage pregnancy dropped her calf this morning unaided. good girl

Having a sick animal around really drags me down

You can look at it in two ways

90% getting married in a few weeks, got an new venture just about to start and we are booked up with good contract work for eternity, planning a skiing holiday and getting back on the motorbike next month

or

20% trying to organise a dam pandemic wedding that’s been postponed twice which we have lost enthusiasm for, as well as having another business starting at the same time which wouldn’t of happened if we could of got married last year, the phone never stops with all this work we don’t have time for. Worried we can’t afford to go skiing and both trials bikes need a few hundred quid spending on them

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
