Indeed.
TBH it was more for piece of mind....I hate heights.Quite fancy one of these.....Ford blue too.

...or it took them six days to pay.
7 weeks for a bacs payment to appear for something sold recently. Makes cheques look speedy......
But it's the modern way....so therefore it's better.

Even CHAPS is supposed to be same day payment........
TBH, if someone wants to pay me by BACS, alarm bells start ringing......

If someone wants to pay me BACS then they are usually good payers or end of the month on the dot.Even CHAPS is supposed to be same day payment........

Cheques are usually 2 months waiting, then a week until you get to the bank then a week to clear, so that £100 profit you may of struggled to make can take 10 weeks until it's actually yours.

When somebody goes over the top to tell you they have paid, they probably haven't.
My favourite is 'I've authorised payment' from a chap that sounds as if he lacks hot water in his home, let alone an accounts department to give authorisation to.

People who appear to do absolutely nothing all day but always have serious amounts of money. Didn't bother me a few years ago, but the harder I work, the more I notice them and the mor they aggravate me

The local EE mast is down and has been for over 2 weeks. I had a message from EE to let me know it was fixed, but if I was still getting problems, to phone them. I used the land line and asked them how I could phone them if I was still not getting a signal. Just phone 150 on your mobile, I was told. No signal I said. OK, they said, just report it on 150 from your mobile.
