What to do with grass keep?

Possibly looking at tendering for 50ish acres grass keep. Mid April to 31st October. Will cut all once for hay/silage (and can only cut once) for our late lactation and dry cows over winter. After that thinking of running either store lambs or stirks, will probably be sold once agreement expires due to shed space on farm. What would you do? Stocking rates in each case?

Carry on buying in hay/silage is an acceptable answer, not totally sure it's worth the effort myself.

The main point is getting some hay/silage that we have control over for our dairy cows so needs to be easy after that.
