ANTARES 100
The biggest , strongest bullock on the farm will be hitched to a cart. All hay stooks will be hand loaded onto the cart.
It'll be great! The weather will be better and we'll all be fitter

I’ve an 18 yr old Same with less then 2,900 hours on it. Has cost very little if anything in repairs also. Fingers crossed she’ll keep going. New tractors have dpf filters like the cars now. Apparently cannt let them idling over any more or they’ll get clogged up.
hi just wondered what same you run I have dorado 85 got it about 16 months ago on an 04 reg with only 1150 hrs on it... perfect for my mixed livestock farm ..goes in all my buildings...powers a round baler ... just the 1 worry I have is spares back up... not been a problem yet...look after it well and serice n grease regularly ....just wondered how your experiences have been so far ??I’ve an 18 yr old Same with less then 2,900 hours on it. There is a Deutz the same as that I'm pretty sure. Agrolux I think! And Hurliman are just lime green SAME's
Whenever you change a filter or things like that on them, the parts are all stamped Same, deutz

I'm not sure where but I am aware there is a very good Hurliman dealer in Cumbria who will can do your repairs
Yep Tunstall will have parts plus second hand spares usually
My six cylinder Same Titan, but it might as well be an early Silver or Antares 130, had the two part exhaust manifold replaced a couple of years ago. The gasket blew and the manifolds were too thin to just replace. Also changed the turbo, which was showing excessive wear, at the same time. The two manifolds, which are nothing special and join together in the middle to allow expansion, cost £750 and £850 respectively. That's £1600 plus studs, nuts and gaskets for simple castings. Plus labour of course. The turbo itself, brand new and a precision machined and balanced piece of real engineering, didn't come through SDF and cost a relatively far more reasonable £1200.Have you seen the price of SDF parts? We stopped running old SAMEs because
Yeah probably as good a tractor on a budget as any...but the spares side of things and potential down time is a worry I guess... joined a same hurliman Lamborghini group just to ask about what may be up with my Dorado 85s heater.... n theres a lot of folk on the group looking for bitsMy six cylinder Same Titan, but it might as well be an early Silver or Antares 130, had the two part exhaust manifold replaced a couple of years ago. Makes you think and explains why the value of SDF tractors tend to be low as used models. If can even get the parts. They hold very little stock in the UK, if any. If the dealer hasn't got it and isn't experienced with the brands and is, like many of their dealers, fairly new and inexperienced with older models, there may be more delays and complications getting parts and expertise than usually expected.
SDF are not alone with an above average dealer churn rate and 'chaotic' spares supply. In fact dealer turnover [churn] is an issue with several big brands lately. Is New Holland a bit of an exception?
No. Many farms will consolidate or give up while others will get bigger. This is relatively easy on arable farms where bigger and bigger machines and things like min-till or direct drilling allow vast economies of scale. Bigger farms with bigger, more sophisticated machines, doing far more work with less costs per acre and per unit of output.if/when subs go do you think people will go back to more basic tractors?
