Ok so with agriculture taking a battering on all fronts at the moment, people say you farmers should stand up for yourself , but we are so fractured and insular we simply can’t do it so where the big suppliers speaking up for us? When the sub goes the profit goes no profit no spending money = no sales? I have not seen any ag business standing up for the little guy ….
Have a look in the news and you will see. We had a South African lorry driver come and collect some wheat this morning and he showed me a video he had been sent from Durban. Looked like a film set from a disaster film. The rioters/looters had given someone he knows a few days to pack up and leave their house before they were going to trash it, having already trashed/looted/burned down their business. I am not sure how it is going to be sorted out! What is happening in SA?
