Ok so with agriculture taking a battering on all fronts at the moment, people say you farmers should stand up for yourself , but we are so fractured and insular we simply can’t do it so where the big suppliers speaking up for us? When the sub goes the profit goes no profit no spending money = no sales? I have not seen any ag business standing up for the little guy ….

Big business probably think that there’s no point helping farmers out when they spend most of the time slagging off each other and criticising others systems because it’s different to their own!

So i think we can deduct form this that no tractor makers no feed merchants no large insurance company's no 4x4 makers vaccine makes wormer makers i could go on - diesel merchants?? in fact basically no one gives a sh!t about selling there products to the uk farmer because if they did they might be slightly more vocal about the way uk ag is funded. no one to me no money to 20 people that help me, its simply unbelievable that looking forward we will be happy to buy meat from country USA that subsidise agriculture.

What is happening in SA?
Have a look in the news and you will see. We had a South African lorry driver come and collect some wheat this morning and he showed me a video he had been sent from Durban. Looked like a film set from a disaster film. The rioters/looters had given someone he knows a few days to pack up and leave their house before they were going to trash it, having already trashed/looted/burned down their business. I am not sure how it is going to be sorted out!

No point expecting the None Farming Union NFU to help because they are anti farming and only interested in their rural life members they offer none existent car discounts to, even though they aren’t actually any better discounts anybody else can get.
