Dagenham hasn’t build tractors for decades the Super Major
CNH at Basildon since about 1964 New Holland globally and Case IH for some markets not UK I believe
Doncaster was closed about 15 year ago mostly housing now

Zoom in on the Agco Massey Ferguson plant north of Paris. A triangular yard on the western side of the plant contains tyres all neatly arranged.

Also in the southeastern part, next to an oblong test track (?) in the parking area there are a couple of lime green intruders..... Competitor research?

You will see competitor makes at most factories. Remember being at the challenger factory in the states. We had some time to kill so went a walkin! Ended up on test track where some very very strange prototypes were being tested as well as some competitors being driven by what can only be described as '' yank students on a promise from the prom queen and her sister, and all her friends in the cheerleeder squad''!!!!

Makes sense to see what you're up against and perhaps borrow a few ideas, within the bounds of intellectual property laws of course...

Factories are where your market is, Australia would be too small a market for a domestic manufacture as the cost to export the rest of its production to anywhere else would prohibitive.

I would guess some of the major transmission manufacturers supply more than one brand.

GIMA also makes transmissions for Claas.

GIMA is half owned by Claas. Was originally set up as a joint venture between AGCO and Renault with each owning 50/50.

doubt it. Car manufacturing ceased a few years ago.
