Which rams does it bend?It doesn't bend rams for a start...
Stronger yes, maybe - but better, no.
I know a few who had the Kuhn then bought the McHale and have said the Kuhn is better.
Just like their balers. Well built yes but definitely not the best.
Which rams does it bend?
Tell you what... I’m happy for my mchale equipment to be no better than Kuhn... but stronger built. [emoji6]
Its French and they buy our lambs and the Irish send us theirs and Poland's beefIn what ways is the Kuhn better?

They want independence as well don't they and speak in a funny twangWhat about the Cornish?
To the OP
I’ve got an 8100 and it’s great. Having said that I would say it’s a straw machine rather than a silage machine, and if you put a lot of clamp silage through it won’t last long.

General build was poor, paintwork, Shute would catch machine whilst rotating and pipes got caught, blades and fingers not as heavy as some, etc , but we had a gearbox collapsed just out of warranty, they told us it had been an issue and recommended a heavier box but it needed upgraded driveshaft and some modification.......cost over 2k with no help from Teagle. We are not a big farm and look after kit and as such expect it to last many years. So next time I voted with my feet to Mchale which has been no bother but spits out a silage bale in half the timeIn what way?
