So if a tractor came up for 7K,is that in or out of budget?as little as possible as much as necessary! budget will get bigger the farther north it is
upper end of it!maybe slightly out?would be in for the right tractor!! really depends where it is if its in or out!

Heck no not blue paint, it will have to be mf super red, but it will save diesel, obviously going down hill will be a whole new experience

7810, The SuperQ cab is the best of it's era. The Massey 699 equivalent cab is horrid, cramped, small doors and awkward to get into and out of. The SuperQ also has a flat floor, and the 7810 is a bigger more imposing tractor.
The only issue is probably rusty wings but these can be replaced. Parts are also cheap and readily available.

Why not look at a Massey 3075 with dynashift? We've got one that pulls round our feeder wagon which is over 10 ton full and just done over 10000 hrs, nice cab, good gearbox, good Perkins 4cyliner turbo

i doesn't need to be but we haven't really been looking at 4cyl tractors! No replacement for displacement on them old tractors! and if that's not enough the song a 6cyl

Theres a nice crystal in classic tractor for not too much. Would mean having to fork out for a couple more furrows for the plough tho

A 1056 turbo is top of my list too
that the only one on the list i have much experience withmy uncle was telling us a maxxum is a far better tractor...So i'm going to suggest he buys another maxxum and we buy his 1056xl turbofeck knows what hp its at but the pumps been fiddled with and it will out pull a maxxum with a 145hp fuel pump on itI can sell you a nice 5150 pronah thats the ploughs that leave the best finish for match ploughing
