Anyone know who's sugar beet they use ? Seen it in a shop today .

It’s ‘packed’ in Britain. As per my previous post. The sugar itself comes from all over the world on a boat.

No, have a look at the image in the link, clearly states British sugar were the packed in Britain logo is in the image above

If it was British beet then surely it would also have RT logo on. As far as I am aware, Silver Spoon is the only British beet sugar (and even they might buy in in a bad year).

Obviously Aldi source from wherever they can get the cheapest deal on the day, just looked at their website, todays offering is British caster sugar, but granulated is "packed in Britain". They are masters of knocking off food manufacturers names and labels, nuttoka with a label that looks like nutella, ketchup where the label looks like Heinz etc. Why be surprised when they play fast and loose with the Union Flag ?
