Well, yes. I would expect that every time a paper goes to press, intelligence slips back a littleThere was an article on the front page of the Times yest about the average IQ dropping. The article was about eating eggs and how crucial a woman’s diet is during the conception phase in determining the eventual IQ of the baby. The article said that average IQ is actually falling. I’ve suspected it for a while but didn’t realise that it is actually happening.
"Fell out of Santas sack"Its not just roads.
Some farmsteads look like the buildings fell from the sky out of a santa sack.
No way can modern trailers or lorries move safely or load quickly.
Prospective range rover owners should prove they understand its capabilities and how to use them or take a course. The proximity sensors put drivers in a panic. Six inch grass sets them off.
If you want to see stupid in the flesh visit Hay-on Wye this week, as the book festival is on. Wall to wall death wish morons stepping into the road in front of your vehicle. Thick as pig sh!t most of them.
Prospective range rover owners should prove they understand its capabilities and how to use them or take a course.
Caravan owners should know how to reverse or take a course(used to I know )
Bmw drivers should have instruction on indicator use.
Prospective performance car owners should take a course in the capabilities of the car and themselves.
We have enough bureaucratic rubbish may as well add some more.
Thats bad luck. Did he bollock the space stealer? My neice was taking her driving test in dorchester yesterday, pulled upto do her parallel park and someone came along and took the space. Driving examiner absolutely furious..Nice now very stressed, clips kerb on turning and fails her test.
Yes I have and the trailer was emptyhave you backed a large silage trailer 40 yards in a narrow lane, without a camera, You i guess got out to to offer to keep cars and people clear while he was backing for you
Not always possible, trees and overhead wires.Tip it up
We have stickers on our trailers from the Road Haulage Association -Not always possible, trees and overhead wires.
Even tipped up you would struggle to see a car behind you, I know someone who backed up a short distance with a vaccy tank recently when they met a car, unfortunately there was a car right behind too, that didn’t end well for the car
Great idea if it was full with auto tailboardTip it up

That;s a stupid comment, nobodys talking about the backing bit, being able to see what;s behind. Bikes, cars, walkers There is narrow lanes and narrow lanes , some with banks ,even with mirrors ,not a lot can been seen behind , round here way there is always somebody there or will be 2 seconds laterIf you can't back a silage trailer up 40 yards without a camera you must be a very poor driver, tractors have big mirrors
Mirrors wont show a child on a bikeIf you can't back a silage trailer up 40 yards without a camera you must be a very poor driver, tractors have big mirrors
I often refer to driving as an open air IQ test. I think the majority of poor driving is simply down to lack of intelligence.Early today driving down a single track country lane, saw a tractor and trailer coming towards me maybe 1/4 mile or less away.
Spotted a gateway and pulled in , rather naively expecting the car that was right on my arse to do same.
Nope woman just charged past and then 100m further on she woke up.
Tractor then had to edge on to narrow verge whilst she attempted to get out of way.
Is this lack of observation,
Saw it but couldn't care less,
Lack of intellect
Lack of common sense.
All of above.
