Sorry to hear that Ollie, better luck next time (and less buggering about on here!)
Carharrt and plenty good enough for farm use.
Thank you, you are very kind. I will search online for a pair.

I have been wearing the "image" bib and brace, along with the body warmer and parka jacket. Only problem is the number of pockets, about 40 altogether on the full outfit. Takes ages to check them all......Sorry to resurrect thread, which model bib and brace do you have from Strauss? Been looking at Carhartt etc but not sure they will be up to farm use...?
Sorry for ya , I have a saying, what goes by you ain’t for you . Better luck next time .I have been rejected the first time around and it looks like I will have to go to college again yet again so will be working for the next 18 months at least. Kind of kicked me in the guts if I am honest but there is nothing I can do about it. I can't sit at home doing nothing until applying again.

Likewise Ollie, I’m sorry to hear that. Must admit I’d been wondering what was happening. Plenty of work in the meantime?
You only get one set of feet so it's important to look after themDickies work trousers for me. Shorts are pretty good too, apart from the flappy pockets on the front which get removed. The lightweight MVF boots generally suit me fine. Cheap and cheerful compared to the eye watering price of the Redbacks.

I’m same always but good wellies , Bekina thermolight safety , I see them wearing noras Jesus they must wreck feet they are so cheap n Nasty it’s unrealThat’s very true.as with everything in life you get what you pay for.a lot of lads I work on building sites with buy the cheapest footwear they can including trainers and I often get my leg pulled for buying expensive footwear, bucklers in my case.i have worn trainers during the summer time but my right foot allways seems to Goto the right of trainer or front of foot seems to go over to outside.this has given me enormous problems including wearing supports in all my shoes now and often get a bit of pain in foot.before seeing an oestiopath I’d had days being unable to walk.take care of your feet boys.you probably spend half your life on them
Nick...
Carhartt bib and brace are brilliant, I have two pairs and love them. Really hard wearing, only hole I've put in a pair is where I spilt battery acid on them a few years ago and they are still going strong! I even milk in a pair!Sorry to resurrect thread, which model bib and brace do you have from Strauss? Been looking at Carhartt etc but not sure they will be up to farm use...?

You do need to watch the sizing though, always order a size or 2 bigger than you think if you will be wearing them over other clothes.
Bought a pair of Oliver ATs from reviews in here. Best pair of boots I've ever owned.....so far. I used to wear whatever the building supplies had, and always had sore knees and I'm only 31. New boots on and I haven't used voltarol since I've got them. Bought a pair of Carhartt dungarees brilliant investment, I don't like boiler suits but I also hate a draft up my back.
