Role Responsibilities:
- To plan, manage and coordinate the planting, cultivation and harvesting of forage and arable crops
- To manage the daily farm activities, operating machinery and undertaking routine field work
- To maintain and manage the welfare of livestock including sheep, deer and goats
- To undertake basic stockmanship duties where necessary
- To maintain accurate farm records
- To ensure a clean and well-maintained work environment, facilities and estate at all times
- Previous experience in arable and livestock farming systems
- Proven knowledge and understanding of farming practices
- The ability to operate and maintain farm machinery
- The capacity to work autonomously and manage own time effectively
- Good livestock management and stockman skills
- The capability to handle farm administration and management tasks
- Highly organised, able to manage and resolve problems with positive outcomes
- A strong practical work ethic and “can do” attitude
- French speaking (or willing to learn)
