Workwear trouser recommendations?

Usually just wear jeans, but looking for an alternative for lambing.

I like the look of these:

They're cheap enough to have a punt on, but don't have reinforced knees or any water-resistance, so wondering if there's a better option.

Any tried and tested recommendations?

I have some Site trousers that came from either b&q or Screwfix. Plenty of pockets, reinforced knees that keep nettles and gorse out.

I wear dickies for work.very hard wearing and often on offer at builders merchants.recently got some more from eBay for £28 for 2 pairs.make sure you buy the ones with elasticated bits on the sides to allow for stretch when bending over

Snickers slim leg work trouser for me are excellent. 2 pairs have lasted over 2 years and all they've needed is the zip changed. I wear them 6 days a week. Nice and light and airy. Not a big fan of the extra pockets at the hip for tradesmen but I discovered on their website you can buy them without those pockets and have purchased another pair to add to the collection.

Another vote for Englebert Strauss. I wear jeans and the outlast everything else and are really comfortable. Sure the other trousers are just as good

Cotton Traders jeans have the stretchy stuff, and a decently high waistband.
No idea price, the clothes fairy makes them appear.

Well, I have the shorts version of the longs, which are just as excellent. However, some people, who I thought were friends bought me some other shorts

Hoggs lined bushwacker trousers are great, and for the summer, the unlined. Son bought a pair of lined trousers, I thought what a wuss wearing lined trousers, then I got a pair myself and think they are great, legs feel wonderfully warm in the winter.
