I’ve got 40 acres of ww like this , in hindsight should not have been rolled as has laid wet, it’s had 150kg/ha of nitram and will get some double top soon , just wondering if some p&k would help rooting and improve it or just more nitrogen

Foliar manganese and maybe a bit of foliar phosphate would put that right but it needs sun and warm. Apply nitrogen soon as you can though.

Don't apply any herbicide to it for now. It has enough on it's plate.

Magphosk always works wonders I find.

That would be a good source of phosphate. Combine with a manganese product (ideally manganese nitrate) to give the crop a perk up.

I've seen wheat die after spending prolonged periods looking like the above.

If it turns very dry and windy the above situation might benefit from rolling when it eventually dries out. Amazing how much a crop can turn if everything comes int it's favour.

Don't worry, I didn't roll ours but the heavy rain downpours did exactly the same job as rolling would have!

Can't even think of venturing out there with any N yet, started to dry a bit yesterday and so we had another deluge of rain overnight. :(

Dont look at it for 3 weeks.
