Would you build a house at the moment

Hearing on the grapevine builders merchants are stuck with alot of expensive timber and delivery times have dropped from weeks to days. Some have written to account holders upping their credit limit to tempt them into buying. The building job is in the first phase of a slow down.
Can see that on 2 local big sites, not quite building to Order, but must be getting close again.

Even in boom times house builders go bust - probably some of them on purpose. I think a crash will come as interest rates go up, but houses (and land) are still selling fast up here. I think there is still a lot of cash looking for a home. Could be different come the new year.
