Took a while for me to get it to load for some reason

Probably all the scripts they have running in the background harvesting IP addresses from people who look at their sites, apparently some of those sites are honeytraps for people like us, unfortunately some of the antis are pretty nifty on computers as the NFU found out this summer......

Clicked it, read it, and then read your post. I did have my VPN on though.

What would they use the information for?

I have had some sympathy for the NFU's policy to ignore all these type of things and not give them any added publicity but it seems pretty obvious that it isn't working.

I'd suggest that the owner/nfu reposts the hellout of it with the following;

The owner of this calf is extremely concerned about the welfare of this calf and would like it safely returned as soon as possible.
It is clear from the statement that those stealing this calf have no knowledge of how to care for it properly and for it's sake, the owner is willing to drop any charges of theft, trespass and hate crimes if it is safely returned promptly. This young animal will be missing its friends, familiar surroundings, normal diet and is very vulnerable to infections at this age.
We would hope the authorities would overlook the list of laws broken with respect to animal health, transportation and identification and the RSPCA might be lenient on causing so much unnecessary distress to the animal.
