So yara at farm now free downloaded it put my field maps on interesting using satellites to monitor crop performance and nitrogen application how accurate is this program before I load my fert spinner just looking for farmers reviews thanks

Just had a play. The satellite imagery is old but when you select a field it can bring up biomass imagery from a week or so ago going back as far as you want.

The "Detect Field" feature is abysmal though! Cannot seem to determine field boundaries at all.

Think it depends on cloud cover mine was updated 2 days ago so maybe worth it if uo to date ?

I love and hate this at the same time. Imagine telling Yara every bit of land you control and what’s in it along with yield expectations. Conspiracy theorist here ( well just a bit ).

Personally I think the development costs involved are far in excess of the value of any data they could sell which may or may not be accurate.

All agronomy companies seem to have any platform like this and they must cost a fortune to create. I really question how much uptake they will get.
