Zocon Grass Harrow vs Jarmet/Intertech for levelling poached ground

Hi,

Has anyone any experience of Zocon's chain harrows for levelling poached ground? https://zocon.eu/machines/weideslepen/zocon-grassland-harrow-6m-4row/?lang=en

They retail for approx 1,500 euro more than equivalent width Jarmet/Polish. Are they worth the extra money?

What are peoples experiences of the above type harrows? I would be intending to use it for both levelling poached ground and pulling out dead grasses in the spring in pasture ground. My idea is to in future use a harrow to deal with moderately poached ground, instead of using the flat roller which is what I do at present.

My brother has an 8.0m Zocon a few years. Does a really good job on poached ground but he has beefed up the headstock, some of the original welds lacked penetration. The hooks that hold the chain onto the rear of the frame can open and let the chain slip out.

I have 3 and 6 metre Zocon Greenseeder tines harrows in stock. If I be of any help please ring me on 07831 335697.

If I was looking for new grass harrows ,then I would take into consideration the prospect of cutting in cover crop / regenerative agriculture which looks like payments / subsidies will be paid in the future.
So harrows with stronger tines will do this along with disc drills. We are going to have to find ways of making our soils work harder for us especially in NVZ areas which limits slurry, muck & fertilizer. Or am I wrong?

Transport & paperwork will be getting up to the price of the machine, transport costs have gone through the roof.
