My friend has a horse that now has a lifelong condition requiring constant medication amounting to in excess of a 3 figure sum every month. I suggested the problem could be solved in one fell swoop by a simple phone call to a fallen stock company.I've heard of people having to take walls down,my wife's show pony is ill she wasn't amused when I said don't put it in the stable ,but in a pen I made in the cattle shed.Forward thinking it did not go down too well she knows I hate them.

best if the owner is not looking when you lob it in with the four in one bucket
why not ?Nig-nag! Love it! Best not use that term discussing horses with my neighbour of African origin eh?!
There are times when it becomes cruel to keep an animal alive at all cost.
I stopped supporting a horse 'rescue' for this very reason.
Sadly some vets are complicit in this. They need to grow a pair.
About 30 years ago my father dug a hole for a neighbour's horse with the old Ford 4550 we had at the time. The vet then walked the horse up to the hole, and put it down, rolling it into the excavation as it went down.at one time I had quite a side line going digging holes for nig-nags done 8 or so in two or three years you need a big hole for a nig-nag

Better on the back of a tipper.I've heard of people having to take walls down,my wife's show pony is ill she wasn't amused when I said don't put it in the stable ,but in a pen I made in the cattle shed.Forward thinking it did not go down too well she knows I hate them.

Trouble was, the hole wasn't deep enough, and the legs were still poking above ground level. At this point my father walked away from the job, and it was left to me to lift the dead horse out, dig the hole a lot deeper, replace the horse, and cover it up. I was about 13 at the time!
Threads like this are the reason we love TFF
What's the first opening line when a vet comes across a big problem with a horse or dog?Sadly some vets are complicit in this. They need to grow a pair.
We have got rid of all scrap tractor tyres for horse field feeders!I wondered what thestory was behind that picture, so did a "Search Google for this image" -
The answer came up:
Best guess for this image: hay feeders for horses
