How to move a dead horse?

Sherlocks extraction turned into quite an event and unfortunately my wife still looks on here occasionally to check I haven't posted any more details regarding DIY dobbin disposal. She didn't see the funny side, one bit! (The woodchipper-out-the-window suggestion went down particularly badly).

I will eventually talk her round to it..

I do still look in frequently and am amused to see references to the deceased donkey in all sorts of threads

Not long afterwards the good Inspector himself vanished.:cautious::shifty::unsure::lock:

its simply not fair.
I got notification that a reply had been made, so eagerly loaded up the thread to find out one of the greatets mysteries of our time, to see no reply.
Doesnt somebody know which pub the inspector drinks in, we can form a slush fund if need be to get a taxi fare to the pub, buy a round and taxi fare back. We need to know.

I am still around.

The memory of diy dobbin disposal has gradually faded in my better half's mind, so much so that we occasionally have a little chuckle about it when faced with a cleaning task ("at least it's not a f**king horse").

One day I will come back and completely part 2 of the trilogy. I did meet one TFF user some time ago and we discussed the finer details.
Meanwhile the
index.php
smiley still cracks me up every time I see it.

And like all those gruesome you tube videos, it would be in the interest of science and education, so her indoors should understand, no?

Personally, I feel it should be left open ended - aren't some of the most iconic moments left to our own imagination to fill in the blanks?

The Italian Job wouldn't have been as good, Was Rick Deckard a Replicant? And I have lost countless hours of not days trying to figure out how the fudge those three shells work in Demolition Man...

Yea, all the better for the ambiguity.
