Valtra PTO problems

Having problems with my valtra N154. The PTO will not engage in 1000 box the dealer has replaced the PTO speed sensor and it worked for around 4 hours and has stopped again. The dealer is now saying it is the selector that can be sticky sometimes and will need a shaft or gear changed which means splitting the tractor. He had mentioned it is not an uncommon fault in them obviously it is only a month out of warranty (only done 1600 hours)
Has anyone else had the same issue and if so what was the cost of repair and did valtra help with the cost?
User error valtra dont breakdown go have a word with yourself and try again.

The sensor is a common issue, ours has been replaced with no bother since.

I donā€™t think 18 month is extended mine came with5 year
5 year warranty on ours.

There are three range sensors for pto speeds located to the right and behind pto guard These sensors tell computer what pro speed has been selected. Check and see what speeds it works in . Would put money on it being one of these sensors

I am still working with it. Does your tractor have a front PTO as well?? As mine does and if I switch it on while trying to get the back one on it normally starts the back one up as well.
