There you are as a rep for a company selling kit with gearboxes rated to 360hp but feel the need to try an belittle a chap for asking about recommendations on 400hp.
When you get out of your leased little pick up truck go and think about buying a tractor, something I guarantee you have never done and never will be able to afford too.

Surely 8740s is a very interesting machine: 405 hp and only 11 tons of weight.
That's probably a joke but surely the new 9S will be much heavier considering the 450 hp or more, and will cover the range from 320/330 up to 450 hp I guess.
Considering this I believe that especially the upper part of the 8700s range will not be followed up.

True,most locally were getting around 200hp
seen a tm120 dyno at 230hp a few years ago, also a ford 8240 at 150hp. 7.5 powerstar got to be up there with the 6bt as one of the best tractor enginesTrue,most locally were getting around 200hp
