Don't be silly.That just drives me nuts, hard enough paying for load, nevermind paying for fresh air, these charges for unused space in mixer lorry winds me up, and then the charge for using a belt lorry, feck I want to scream, feck if I started charging for using one spanner in the packet and then put charge on for having the rest there but not using them, there wouldn't be many coming to get work done
Its a totally understandable way of charging to cover transport and time for little jobs. Otherwise they would be facing the equivalent of driving 20 miles with a tractor and baler for a crappy 2 acre pony paddock, rowed up lumpy with a Haybob, and still charging the same rate per bale as your 60 acre job a short drive away.
