After about 10 tonne of spring wheat to feed to my chickens . It’s has to be spring wheat as that’s all the fussy things will eat. As close to Worcestershire as possible . Thanks

That will sow about 160 acre, yielding around 500 tonne, how many chickens do you have to eat all that,
Will the chickens not be dead before harvest

Is it illegal to deal farm to farm seed, is there no way of paying royalties on such transactions?
Before you ask I'm not asking retrospectivly

Caveat. You can use home saved and make declaration for royalties.

home saved seed royalty paid is fully legal.

Wouldn’t you be better just citing the legislation (or perhaps even giving a link to it on gov.uk) and then we can avoid any interpretation that an invested party might want to add?

Absolutely, heaven forbid those on the poverty line in the seed industry should share any of our financial pains. I am 100% sure none are or would ever be profiteering from the situation.

Incidentally in the interest of fairness can I claim a refund on seed royalties where the seed has rotted or been eaten to the ground and isn’t going to make it to harvest?

Actually you should quote the legislation correctly if it’s causing you concern.

Happily my hens aren’t too fussy and will eat either winter or spring grain so I’ve no need to worry.
