One of the tracks on the digger constantly goes down. Had a new seal put in it when tracks and sprockets were renewed but still goes down. Finally lost the track off completely so took it apart and the ram is patchy with rust. Will this be why it's losing grease rather than the seal?
As above. Couple of customers tried to burn wheat in the past but struggle. One is pretty desperate to find a solution as not got enough OSR to burn this year. Anyway to make it urn well in the boilers?
What should the gearbox generally run at temperature wise on the above baler please?
Done roughly 7.5 hours baling bone dry wheat straw today and the alarms gone off telling me it was above max, 100c. Baler is brand new this season. And yes I know its been warm but never had that with a 22 or...
Anyone any suggestions how to make this job easier? Currently digger into jcb into trailer. Slow job and there is ALOT of stuff to shift. Can't get anymore with slurry pump ?♂️?♂️?♂️
Seems to be a common term on nearly every subject, be it sheep, sucklers, dairy, most types of contracting, arable etc etc etc, by quite a lot of people. So how/why are you still in the agricultural industry if no one is making money?
And this was before the whole covid 19 job so I'm not even...
Might be America but thought this was quite interesting. Its not only Deere and tractors going this way in this country as well.

Don't know why but we've always struggled to get anyone to demo us any machinery even though we generally buy new gear every year of some description.
We did manage to get a demo of a baler this summer, around 100 bales, but my question is, is it normal practice to receive a bill for the...
Long story short I'm trying to sell a discovery 3. The problem I've got is I've a bill for roughly 3k for repairs but these repairs were never finished or even fixed the problem it initially went in to have fixed. The mechanic said he would have the car back and finish off the work, that was 1...
Recently we've been pricing up a new round baler to replace a lely 445rp.
Obvioulsy they've now been bought out by agco so we've priced up a massey and out of curiosity I said how much the fendt version. Without going into actual prices we were told it's £1600 more for the fendt version than...
Stolen Sunday 9th/Monday 10th June.
Both tractor doors off 3 tractors.
Also mchale 991 high speed wrapper control box and radio receiver remote.
Some diesel and a few tools
Got a customer wanting to cut some grass this week and while it is probably long enough and ready to cut its not really forecasting much heat this week. Dry with cloud and sunny spells and blowy but only 9c tops (frost possible a couple night).
I was trying to persuade him. To wait and...
Currently looking for a new rake for next summer. Anybody any experience with the mchale range?
Do they follow un even ground well enough? And leave a nice even row for a round baler?
Ok, so not really sure what to write here fully but yesterday and this morning I was loading pig muck (fym not slurry) that had been mixed and heaped over winter/spring/summer. All was going well and I even had the digger sat on top of the heap making loading easier and quicker. Then at the end...
Having problems with the above wrapper. The cut and tie won’t release when in auto. Will release manually no bother. Anybody ever had same issue?
Thanks.
