Try and pin them down and they will just blame Westminster for not giving them enough money to cover what they pi$$ed up the wall on vanity projects like vastly over-spec ferries and the bottle return scheme that nobody was ready for.
The £10m ‘Hallaig’ ferry serving the Isle of Raasay a prime example, a ground breaking diesel-electric hybrid, was great until the batteries started overheating, battery replacement cost £1.2m or something like that, so they’ve given up on the idea and are just running it solely on diesel instead. I wonder how much extra the electric aspect of the ferry inc it’s infrastructure added to the cost of the build.

Completely irresponsible use of public money, total vanity.

Sounds like the UKs latest aircraft carriers, spend more time in dock being "fixed" then on patrol? Design flaws, whos responsible? i know who always pays/picks up the bill, the poor old tax payer

Is this fact checked? What does “climate change” expenditure consist of?
This is the actual expenditure of the senedd go and look and the climate spending isn’t even costed at all because they are under a climate emergency and that is the excuse they are using in the uk as a whole especially Wales Scotland

This gov site purports to show the 2024 spending: https://research.senedd.wales/finan...re-the-2024-25-welsh-government-draft-budget/ but it looks rather different to your picture Banjo. Have you tried taking your evidence to Private Eye?

While the "climate change" label includes a LOT of spending (third largest category in this 2024 budget), diving a bit deeper into it shows it's more a victim of "greenwashing". The largest spend item under "climate change" is Transport for Wales i.e. roads. It's like saying the future Stonehenge tunnel would be categorised as "climate change" because it (apparently) will reduce polluting fumes...

Any administration that uses "burner phones" to keep it's communication private is not to be trusted.

Here’s my point, they have decided to create a massive new £4.8 billion budget to spend on climate change or greenwashing and are choosing not to spend it elsewhere. wales only gets roughly £18 billion off the uk every year and the welsh Labour government chooses to spend a quarter of the total budget on an unfunded cult like agenda instead of the nhs, poorer people, 2% of their total budget on agriculture ( that feeds the population three times a day ) why are people and msm, agricultural media nit questioning this !

Im sure if it was £61 million missing from their lavish pension fund (yes I know its state funded but using the analogy) they would be doing something about it, the money will never be seen again it will have been redirected towards council tax freezes that were unfunded more than likely.

The hypocrisy of mentioning brexit at any chance from the cult that would have had no access to Europe had they got their dream/wish in 2014.

The sooner the Scottish parliament is disbanded the better for scottish society as it is just another tax on the people who contribute to society. Just another layer ontop of the civil servants who were doing the work prior to its inception.
Exactly, Britain is hardly a big country,it should?! only need one government, having Welsh and Scottish governments,is just having to fund a whole other bunch of "hinger on's".

Well boys n gals if you think we can’t do anything when we try, think again cos this little thread seems to have forced the Scottish snp leader to promise to pay the £60 million back to you Scottish farmers and they talk about this thread on the farming forum halfway through the vid being a big part of it ✊

Humza’s thought police, what a load of shite.

Be another one sided clusterf**k where the blue hair brigade can crack on protesting against the patriarchy/state/historical facts, but woe betide those who tell them to sod off and shut up.

Orwell would be absolutely gutted to find out his works were used as blueprints rather than warnings.
