What about this as a base?? Saw it on Facebook a while ago, love how it can turn full 360.

Current - 18' bed, 4' drawbar between beed and bumper.

Swan neck - 22' bed, 1' between bed and bumper.

Overall, only 1' longer.

If you had steering axles there would be hardly any where you couldn't go

If the wagon is grossed and the trailer weighs -0.5 tonnes, yes!

yea but you are pulling it from on top the axle rather than a hitch what 3 foot behind it ? so it will cut the corners more

in theory yes but you want to be balanced to a degree

Isn't it all down to gross vehicle train weight?

A dmax gvtw is 6t and it weighs near 2t so with a 1.5t trailer I could only carry 2.5t?

Think they seem to be aimed at volume applications rather than train weight. Weetabix haulage (mobile classrooms) rather than bacon (running at 7T at all times), but could be wrong. Think that is where the goose neck might have the edge, where you need to go to max weight now and then, but not always and need floor space.
