How worried should I be? Is this break lining or crud accumulated over the years

There’s even a crust of your sandwich in there 😂 i would clean and refill with oil and check it again in a couple of weeks or so only trouble is you will have to drain the oil but it does look like a lot of crap

Looks more organic matter than mechanical matter
I agree, often found masses from hazel nuts, chewed up plastic and mouse turds on old vintage stuff with large filler caps or partly dismantled things that was left for even for a very short time of a few weeks. I have heard of mechanics rag to spanners and recon may have been a eat health snack of one or?.

It's come from an arable farm. The service book said transmission oil and filters were changed at 4500 hours, it's now done 6147. I bought it a year ago
