what makes you say that? its a very different feeling when we first did it to what we were used to, as you are in charge but not in charge. He put it all up for sale on here.
Looking after someone else’s stock is a financial waste of time, the highlight of the whole thing could be muck if you are in deepest Norfolk or Suffolk with 3000 acres of arable and an aged parent you want to keep out of your way.
I think you have answered your question with your reply. For many I have known it is ‘next step, pack up’, whether pigs, calves, or someone’s in calf dairy heifers.what makes you say that? its a very different feeling when we first did it to what we were used to, as you are in charge but not in charge.
wouldnt say its next step pack up. to a certain degree for us its improving our farm business. We can have a part time stock man/worker to make my life a bit easier and not argue with dad all the time.I think you have answered your question with your reply. You would need to be thinking that straw used this autumn winter would need to be priced into your BB equation at £80 ton considering your location.wouldnt say its next step pack up. to a certain degree for us its improving our farm business.
