Speak to your pig company tomorrow and demand the rise you need then?!Do feel we are getting a double pay cut.
Inflation, but also labour and other costs going up to.

I’ve found this. The companies get bigger and bigger and couldn’t give two hoots about the farm, farmer or even the pigs to a certain degree. They always want more and more out of the farmer tooWe do B&b.
Feel it has changed from when we started 7 years ago.
Do feel that a payment rise would be welcome.
Yes payment rate gone up slightly since stared. But money worth less, labour is more, straw is worth more.
I do agree to a certain degree but its the same with anything, i always think to myself how little do i want to do. We now have nearly 8000 b&b spaces on and the company we rear for are genuinely very helpful and i don't push for more money because they were there when i had non financing feeders, drinker and concrete pannels for me to be able to carry on.I’ve found this. Sounds abit like the protest situation (OFF TOPIC)Off topic I know
I grow milling wheat for Warburtons on a min £20 max£40 contract. The milling premium has been well over £40 for a couple of years. In on line meetings, I was the only farmer out of 50 on the call to ask for more money, twice. No body even supported me. Cant understand it. We have now got a £10 increase, so my comments were taken on board, but why were the other 49 farmers backing me up, we may have got £20!!
