Hawes av £80.38 for 30,000 ish 100% clearance on faceache
Still not worked out the new site...I am sure your all bear with me...bit slow to fathom things out
Did you buy them...They made £370
It depends on the breeding...well bred early 50s...badly bred...low to mid 40s...but if I am buying a fiver less
No surprisingly. Did buy some nice lambs for £76.Did you buy them...
They are a necessary evil!! Can't beat them for breeding replacements imo.We got a couple of pens of mule hoggs for £150, first mules in 5 years but like breeding my own gimmers... was plenty of small badly shaped things £60-75
Its why they are the most popular and widespread sheep in the country. They are a necessary evil!! Can't beat them for breeding replacements imo.
I don’t disagree but They need some more body tell all your fellow breeders. Get some body into them swales instead of those fine little things. There are a lot that a too narrow by a long way. I want to buy some lonks and a BFL tup to try at some point as I think it will make a good mule. Its why they are the most popular and widespread sheep in the country.
The bodies on them are awful now...so narrow and thin legged...that’s why I bought the ones I did, big broad chested ones, big strong legsI don’t disagree but They need some more body tell all your fellow breeders. They were born inside in Jan/Feb.These were as big as shearlings...and I’d rather buy lambs...the substantial luck money helped the job
I don’t know tbh, I was there and struggled to buy some gimmers at the prices they were going for, can’t see the sense in it when I am giving lambs away in the fat trade.Sounds like they’ve been cheaper at Longtown today (mule gimmers)

I didn’t take any...they are out grazing nowPhoto?
£75 is enough for running lambs, £3 to get them home, £1 to dip, £2.50 vaccines, £1 to treat all the lame ones people put in. So next day they have already cost you £82.50 before any die.mule lambs looked cheap, pens and pens of nice mule lambs mid £70s
How many would that be....Dawn I guess?Booked cattle in last week and the quickest they could do them was 30-9, had txt this morning saying he can take them tomorrow now. Are numbers tighting?
Only 5 cattle. Yes in hatherleigh. I anit got time this week tho, plus tb testing this week. Can you actually sell in between testing and reading your test? How many would that be....Dawn I guess?
