We make a personal connection with all of our customers. We believe that building a long-term relationship with you is a must, if we’re to help in any real way.www.handelsbanken.co.uk
Are they restrictive in who the take or have you been with them a long time. A friend enquired but I don’t think he had enough turnover. We have been with them for a number of years and they dont bother you but if you want some thing about two rings of the phone they will answer in your bank

Also heard good reports about Handelsbanken. Have banked with Barclays for generations and we have a good responsive Ag Manager at the momentWe have been with them for a number of years and they dont bother you but if you want some thing about two rings of the phone they will answer in your bank
I know the title is a bit of 'the best of a bad bunch', but due to circumstances i dont wish to discuss here, im looking for the best bank to open a business account with.
N.b. this will be for an agricultural business
The relationship managers cant really do much at all, other than take all the details, give a brief write up,and pass the proposals on to their credit teams. It is them that make all the decisions, based on EBIT,their tests for affordability etc. They have set computer formulae to do this. Its not like in the old days where your own Bank manager could make all the decisions himself.A lot comes down to the local " relationship manager ' - or whatever fancy title they have . Trouble is the good ones soon get moved higher up the tree, or get sick of the sh!t they get from on high and take early retirement

I thought you needed more cash than Dyson to bank with them!! or be a 6 figure borrower plus. Also heard good reports about Handelsbanken. Have banked with Barclays for generations and we have a good responsive Ag Manager at the moment
They are choosey about who they take on,but the mainstream high street banks are getting like that now, even running a credit account for clearing.I thought you needed more cash than Dyson to bank with them!! or be a 6 figure borrower plus.
