I stick with Blaxnit/Bridgedale Pathfinders now, from trying them after one of these threads on here. Thick soles, stay up inside wellies and incredibly hard wearing. Just bought another dozen pairs off eBay a few days ago, to clear out all the other odds & sods that never get worn now.

I could do you a good deal on a bag of those ‘odds & sods’ if you’re looking for a bargain. Most haven’t even got holes in.:)

I tried doing a search for best socks, just came up with unhelpful stuff 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Surely you need a hole at the top? Or how you you get your foot in?

You've got to admit the JCB, etc. 6 - 11 multi sized socks are cleverly designed.

Now all we have to do is find a use for a sock that always creates a little ridge under the foot inside the boot when inserted causing maximum discomfort. I'll have to wear this lot out because I'm too mean to throw out socks before the holes appear. But they will!

have a pair of jcb branded socks which are almost a fleecey material and it’s rare that i pull my foot out off my welly and them actually still being on my foot, just talking about them has mad me angry, going to throw them in the fire when I go back home.

I've taken to using baby powder as a lubricant to get my foot plus sock in and out of my wellies. But I am gradually getting through them....
