Bps Reductions England Only

Sorry if everyone’s moved on from this but why is there not more outrage that only English farmers are suffering progressive BPS reductions when ELMS looks like such an inadequate and ungenerous replacement?

We all sell commodities on the same global market and it seems like a huge and unfair disadvantage to farmers in England compared to the other home nations…

Unfortunately the Government here have never valued food producers unless they are in a muddle, importing is easier.

The NFU don’t seem to mind, so it must be ok.
The NFU is a bad misrepresentation of what it actually is, it is not a National Farmers Union as you would imagine, it is a conglomerate of various parties that finance it, each with their own particular vested interests, it certainly does not seem to me to operate purely for English farmers benefit!

I'm only outraged that BPS wasn't removed decades ago
(ELMS is not meant to be a replacement for BPS)

We live in an country with a pretty strong currency and a high cost economy... commodities are traded on international markets... the price fair to a British farmer can be very different to a fair price for similar produce from other parts of the globe... Brexit is not only tearing up subsidy payments it is also tearing down trade barriers.... :banghead:

yeah theres an angry vibe coming right of your post, like youve ground the pencil lead into yer desk,or crushed a few grapes in the bowl :D
remember mr angry on steve wright in the afternoon? :ROFLMAO:

Tbh i reckon a bit of it s alright if it gets spent on permanent fencing, gates sort of thing  especially for smaller farmers with smaller fields :sneaky:
