Bridgestone tyres! Vf 650/65.r42 Vf 540 r30

we have just taken delivery of a x stock JD 66r155 it has come on 42in tyers 650s the ride is not great you can feal the tractor walking/rocking side to side on them especially on a smooth road. Any one else found this issue. The previous 6150r had 42in Michelins on which where not the best ride.

Drop them to 16 psi and see the difference

Then hitch up the plough (or similar heavy cultivation device), drop them to 10psi, and cross a field

Put them to 24psi and pull a laden trailer for an hour. Bit of heat helps

I put 42" vredestein on a deutz this winter to replace really awful alliance VF. Set the tyre pressure correctly, and it's now like sitting in a Bentley, wafting through the countryside

^ what he said. VF tyres need to run softer. I run mine at 14psi for roadwork, 10psi or less (depending on weight) for fieldwork.
