Brought him in at end of November, built him up to 9kgs a day of 2/3 lamb pellets and1/3 barley because that's what we had. Took him to Darlington with a bullock we also had on 20th January. He looked really well. It was definitely the right thing to do because he would chase the bullock round the pen trying to suck him
we had a buggar this year, 1 sucking in a bunch of 7 dairy hfrs, missed it, 3 calved in 3/4, and the fattest of the bunch, is the sucker, with a spike in, also gives the most milk. Expensive mistake
