Can am 450 problem

Hi I have a 2017 Can am 450 here and it's playing up, it wont idle for long and when on the road and I ease to turn it stalls, this has got progressively worse, it started by not idling for more than 10-15 seconds.
Also the oil pressure switch is leaking oil (from the wire connector not the threads) and giving a low oil pressure warning the ok if turned off and on again, I don't know if the two faults are connected. I have changed the plug to no avail.
TIA.
p.s I don't know if this has any relevance but my problems started after I added Red X to the fuel.

Checked fuel filter?
When it run's its fine with no lack of power, it's only when the revs drop it cuts out i.e. after a run, I would have thought if it was starved of fuel it wouldn't be ok on the road at speed. I will see how easy the filter is to check it's quite likely needing a clean.
Thanks.

We've got an old 650 max here that ran like a bag of .... when we put premium (95) in the farm tank, very rough lumpy idling and low rpm surging, as soon as the tank got low we put 91 in and she's back to idling and using both cylinders.

Just doesn't seem to agree with that fuel, everything else runs fine

I have just cleaned the fuel filter but it didn't look that bad, give it a blow with the airline, I am wondering if the oil pressure switch has anything to do with the idling problem, I am waiting for a new one as its leaking oil now as well as intermittent showing of the light.
we can only get E10 petrol here and it's run fine on that for seven years.
All my problems coincide with the oil pressure switch fault and me using Red X.

Out of interest, have you got a voltmeter, wonder if the battery has dropped a cell and the voltage drops too much at low revs ?

If you hook up a high-amp device or use the winch on some canams they need a few revs on to run properly, so maybe it's worth ruling that out before you spend too much money on parts .

I don't think it's the battery but I will try it when I get the oil pressure switch (it's leaking oil pretty badly) So far I have cleaned the fuel filter although it didn't look to dirty, so maybe that will sort it.

I think I have the Idling solved, I would appear the fuel additive may have been to blame not helped by me overdosing it.
After I cleaned the fuel filter and with fresh fuel it ran fine, so when back in the workshop I put 10 litres of fuel with additive back in the tank thinking with the cleaned filter my problem was solved, I then went to put water out with the bike and trailer and it was back to stalling and not idling. Next I drained the tank by syphoning it dry(I can still taste the Petrol) then put 10 litres of fresh petrol in and it runs ok now.
Thanks for the advice all.
