Can I use IHO in my Massey 690

IHO is industrial heating oil, a replacement for gas oil (red diesel) since non agricultural users can no longer be supplied with it. I think it will be absolutely fine as long as you add a fuel additive.

Don't think so, @Cowabunga has mentioned atf before iirc.
Yes, ATF Dexron works a treat to lubricate and clean injectors and pumps. I used it annually in my 2140 where it eliminated white smoke for months and months at a time. I can’t recall the concentration exactly but believe it was 2% ATF/red diesel. It is quite safe in tractors that do not have DPF or a catalytic converte, the effects on which I have no clue. That concentration is the same as 50:1 if I’m not mistaken, which is the two stroke petrol mix standard, which is reassuring. 2 litres added to 100 of fuel.
No warranty given.

I remember doing this in my defender, no ill effects, seemed to run smoother and quieter
