Cant download Agridata on to new computer

So just making a quick thread for anyone that was a bit stuck like me. We run roughly 3600 sheep, 80 beef cows on a 1000 acre hill farm and use Agridata as our farm software.
Due to agridata support just disappearing off the face of the earth making it that you can no longer download the software, it made it pretty difficult to warrant changing my farm computer and losing all my records that date back to 1995.
Luckily Neil from farming Matters got in touch with me and said that they would be willing to try recover my data over onto their software, they managed to transfer the cows side of things over within a day which I was impressed with but I asked if they could do my sheep records and medicals as well. It took them a week to recover it all which firstly I am grateful for but secondly they never asked for a penny to do and never once pushed me to purchase the software which blows my mind, people just don't do stuff like that these days.
I have to say the service from farming matters has been unmatched and I'm not even a customer at the time I'm writing this.
I will be subscribing to farming matters once my trials runs out though, software reminds me very much of the simplicity of Agridata with just way more useful features I think I could utilise and I know that if I have any issues learning the features the videos they have or Neil will defiantly be able to help me out.
If you have Agridata, trust me and move over to Farming Matters
Thanks for reading and hopefully I've helped someone out like farming matters helped me out

Moving from one system to another is always complicated. Even upgrading from old to newer versions often sees the same issues. But if Neil has managed to do the mapping once and written some routines for doing it, his time taken to do it the first time can be made up in the future.

What is/was Agridata? I've not heard of that one before.

Hi Chris Neil here … Agridata was a very good program back in its day and well liked by many farmers throughout the Uk. We used to share the market rather than fight between ourselves for business ( it was friendly in those days ! )
Over the past few years we have had many farmers getting in touch as they are unable to track anyone down to support them? So everyone is presuming the have ceased trading which is a shame. It was a good practical beef and sheep software program with loyal users.

When I noticed Luke s shout out for help it’s was a good opportunity to reach out to anyone who required help moving their Agridata forward into the future.
Thanks to Luke for the kind words as we aim to please and don’t shout out about what we have been doing for the past 25 years we let our customers do that !

so if there are any Agridata users out there needing a hand just get in touch anytime there is no obligation and I am always happy to help get you data up and running on our trial

cheers for now
Neil
